The Rule of Thirds 

The rule of thirds acts as a principle and a guideline that artists use while composing any visual image, be it Photography, Film, Digital Paintings or just Design is general . Ive come to realise the importance of this rule in media as it helps define the significance of the subject i want in focus of my shots. Its a simple but affective way to show the importance of a character or subject within the frame. The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points.
